Best EV Conversion at Bay to Birdwood

Best EV Conversion at Bay to Birdwood

October 29, 2023

Last weekend was the running of the Bay to Birdwood historic motoring event. 67km from the beach up into the Adelaide Hills and onto Birdwood where the Australian National Motor Museum is.

With 1500 entrants (of cars older than 30 years) and literally 10s of thousands of people lining the route. it's an amazing way to spend a Sunday.  One of our Adelaide based customers entered his vehicle but was unable to do the drive itself so I flew over to ultimately take the glory and hold the trophy as the winner of Best EV conversion. Check out the video

Ok ok, so there was only 3 vehicles in the EV conversion category, but the fact that they allow electric conversions at all is a huge step for a classic motoring event. We'll be back next year and encourage everyone to go along. It's a really inclusive atmosphere.
